Sunday, October 23, 2005A Look Into Some Great Poker TournamentsThe following is quick look into the different tournaments being featured right now at a number of popular online Poker Rooms. As a nice change from the typical "weekend" feature tournament, Party Poker has introduced their "Super Weekdays" tournaments. These tourneys take place every Monday to Thursday form 9 O'clock pm, featuring no limit Holdem games on mon, tues and thurs and a Limit Holdem game each Wednesday. The buy-ins for these daily tournaments are $150 + $12 per tournament. However you can also win your entry by playing in PartyPoker "Super Qualifier" games that are constantly featured here. The prize pool will depend on the number if entries. At 4 O'clock pm every Sunday, 888.com, Pacific Poker features their "Weekly Whopper" tournament. This tournaments prize pool is a Whopping $100, 000. Sometimes it's just nice to know that something is a sure thing. At Full Tilt Poker, they understand this and feature a number of "Weekly Guarantees". There are a number of different tournaments taking place at different times of the day, every day. (beginning at 1am and ending at 11pm) The buy-ins range from $24+$2 to $69+$6 and feature prize pools from $2,000 to $10,000. And that's prize money is guaranteed. And if this isn't enough, each Saturday and Sunday, special tournaments have been set up with buy-ins of $100+$9 and $200+$16, respectively and prize pools of a guaranteed $100,000 and $200,000.
