Erick Lindgren - Biography

At only 27 years old, Erick Lindgren is sure to have a long and prosperous career as a professional poker player.  Erick was born and raised in a small northern California town, where sports played a big part of his life.  Erick was an avid football and basketball player which is where you might say, he learned about competition and taking risks (two very important lessons in being a good poker player).

And a good poker player he is.  Earning over $2 million in prize money over the past few years, Erick has won a number of top tournaments.  One of these being the 1 million dollar top prize Poker Million III tournament .  Lindgren has also a WPT event in 2003 and has made the final table in 4 other WPT events, making him the 2004 ‘World Poker Tour Player of the Year’.

Erick is single and currently resides in the city that has turned him into the player he is today, Las Vegas.  He first came to Vegas after dropping out of college and actually began his career as a blackjack dealer.  It’s Ericks aggressive style, his ability to take risks and his great sense at reading opponents that has allowed him to be able to compete with (and beat) some of the greatest players and toughest opponents out there.

Erick Lindgren is an active member of team Full Tilt where he and other great players offer tips on how to improve you game.  Erick has also just released his first book titled, “World Poker Tour: Making the Final Table”, which is also full of great strategy.   When Erick is not at the table, you may find him back on the court, playing basketball or on the course, playing a game of golf.  Erick also enjoys traveling and watching movies.
