Crazy Pineapple Poker

This fan and exciting poker game is a slight variation of Texas Holdem Poker. Almost everything is the same except for one twist. To begin, players post blinds as usual but when the first cards are dealt, in Crazy Pineapple each player receives three hole (pocket) cards, instead of the usual two. Now, as per normal, the first betting round takes place, starting with the player to the right of the big blind. The first three community cards (the flop) are dealt to the table. Now here is the twist, each player must now discard one of their hole cards; this card is now out of the game forever. The game now continues as a regular holdem game, another betting round, the turn is dealt, another betting round, the river, one last betting round and finally the showdown. Unlike Omaha poker, in crazy pineapple (and other Texas holdem games), the best five card poker hand can be a combination of any of your two remaining hole cards and 5 community cards. This game can also be played as a pot limit game or a no limit game. To understand the difference between limit and no limit games check out the Limit Texas Holdem and No Limit Texas Holdem sections on this website.

  • He game continues as a normal Holdem game.
